During elections, Livable Berkeley provides opportunities for Berkeley residents to learn about the smart growth credentials of local candidates. Livable Berkeley does not endorse political candidates. Instead, Livable Berkeley takes the following actions during elections:

• Host candidates’ forums, inviting candidates to address issues of smart growth and livability.

• Issue a “report card” format analysis of candidates past and current positions on smart growth and sustainable development issues.
